Build 2012.894 on Mac OSX

I am currentl using an older version of Corona, and when I went to check the latest update I realized that it requires Mac OSX 10.7 versus my current build of 10.6.8

Quite frankly, I have heard nothing but horror stories about that OSX and would like to avoid upgrading to it if at all possible until they get everything ironed out.

What are some current solutions or workarounds to his… OR, will I be fine using my current version of corona [import]uid: 134652 topic_id: 32378 reply_id: 332378[/import]

Simple, get OS X 10.8.

There are some macs (like 2 of the 3 that I have) that cant go any higher than 10.6. being that they are core duo 32 bit chips.

If that is your case, you can extend the life of your 10,6 mac by overlaying it with the 10.7 xcode (as described elsewhere in this forum) to continue to build iOS 5 apps - but there is no path to iOS 6 except for going to 10.8.

My mac mini started life as 10.6 also, and I never went to 10.7… but I did bite the bullet, and did move to 10.8 to get to iOS6 without any problems.

YMMV [import]uid: 9070 topic_id: 32378 reply_id: 128810[/import]

Horror stories about 10.7 Lion? I’ve been using it for some time with no issues, and Corona works great on it, so I wouldn’t say you need to avoid it like the plague or anything.
