Build Button grayed out on everything

I’m using the latest daily build 3012, installed on MacOS Sierra 10.12.2 (16C67)

I can not build anything at all, the build button is greyed out on every type of build (IOS, Android, Mac)

I have valid certificates and provisioning profiles and a keystore for Android which I’ve been using for a while.

I downloaded the latest Daily build and suddenly this happened.

Hmmm seems to be the MacOS , I tried the same daily build on my macbook pro running El captain and it seems to work and compiles with the certificates I’m using, the build button shows up as blue regardless of selecting any certificates.

On the MacOS the button is greyed out from the start.

Can anybody shed any light on this, I’m pretty much stuck on my iMac without being able to build for a device or the store

Can you try re-installing Corona?

Can you try a different build? 2992 or 3005?

Thanks

Rob

Tried reinstalling and it is the same on all versions of Corona, the only thing different recently is the upgrade of MacOS Sierra to 10.12.2 (16C67)

Hey  I have got the same problem just now - But  I wait for minutes & it automatically came …

Still no good, tried the latest daily build. Still the same.

The only warning I get in the console is WARNING: the provisioning profile last used to build this project was not found

But that is because I deleted all the profiles and made new ones, the new ones work fine in Xcode, but the build button is still greyed out.

This is pretty bad right now I to get this working as I need to get a build to my client.

Is anybody looking into this? This is quite an Urgent matter, if I had time to build the app with something else I would but I’m stuck using Corona.

You said you have good provisioning profiles, but the warning above seems to indicate that it doesn’t. I’ve never heard of this before. What kind of Mac are you running on?

Rob

Rob , I am using Corona 2016.2906 Build on MacBook Pro - ELcaptain

I am facing the same problem since yesterday.

The Build button is sometimes get active & sometimes gray !!!

I’m checking with engineering to see they can think of a cause for this.

Thanks Rob

The last time I was able to build it, I built it with provisioning profiles, when the build button wasn’t enabled I tried everything, including making new provisioning profiles, all of which did no good, the new profiles are good I tested them with a test build in xcode, I think the warning is Corona picking up on the last successful build. Even so the build button should be enabled on Android OSX and AppleTV but it is disabled on everything.

@assif_tiger

What OS and what version are you using?

This seemed to have only happened when I upgraded MacOS Sierra to the latest build.

*** Ignore this I just read your post

@cublah Have you tried to build HelloWorld?

Is there anything in the Provisioning Profiles list? Can you click on it and expand it?

Is your “Save To” folder valid?

Rob

The build button is not enabled for any project including hello world.

Yes there is a list of all my provisioning profiles.

Yes my “Save To” is valid.

I’m going to try and go back a couple of days on Time Machine and see what happens.

Any luck dropping back in Time Machine?

I spoke with an engineer and the reason the build button would be grayed out is if something in the forum is invalid, like the output path. Upgrading to a new version of macOS could potentially (depending on where you’re outputting to) change permissions on a folder, break a symlink or other such.  Try changing the output folder to someplace else. Make sure the provisioning profiles are showing as valid. Make sure all the other fields have valid data in them.

Rob

Yes thank you Rob for following up. I went back a couple of days and it’s all working now, still not sure why but I’ll keep an eye out for the things you’ve stated when I reupgrade.
