Build Error #5 since yesterday

I am suddenly having issues while creating builds for android. The build server has been returning build error # 5 since yesterday. Have dropped a mail to support.

Is anyone facing the same issue ?

I am using the build 2013.1137.

:frowning:

I just did a test build and did not get an error.  This is the only report I’ve seen of it.  What messages are showing up in your terminal/command window?

Rob

Hello Rob,

I am able to create a build now. I have been struggling to do the same since the 3rd of Jan but it appears to be working fine. Strange…

Anyway, many thanks for your reply.

I am looking at the same error right now.

Build error #5 (null)

Is this an error at Coronalab’s end?

.

This is the first report of this that I’ve seen.   I would check your terminal/command window to see if there are any other error messages that is being generated besides the one that shows up in the dialog box.

There are many things that will generate a Build error 5 (null) like syntax errors in files that your app may not be using (we compile all .lua files).  Errors in your build.settings. etc.

Hi Rob, thanks for the quick response.

There’s no other message in the command window. But it does look a bit strange. Here’s the screenshot.

FYI, I’m using build 2014.1262 (the special iOS7 build for GFX 1.0 users)

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Ai, too small to be readable… here’s another attempt.

It looks like your terminal window isn’t wrapping lines correctly.  The message is likely off screen and I don’t know on windows how to get it to wrap lines.

Rob

I don’t know how to unwrap it either

Is there another place where I can find the error message? A log file or somewhere else? Can you perhaps see what happens on your side?

I don’t have access to the build servers and I doubt they would be recording those kinds of errors any way.  Can you try and build with 1260 and see if the error shows up better or perhaps 1202?

Thanks

Rob
