Build error - but no error is shown in console

Hi,

when I tried to build my newest app, I first got an error about “mixed-line endings” in the build.settings. So, I copied a working build.settings from an older project and edited it again to create a new version of this file.

When I then tried to build, I still got an error with “More information may be available in the Simulator console”. But this time, the console is showing no errors. :frowning:

Please see screenshot.

I am using Build 2018.3326.

It is really frustrating, because the main program code is the same than from most of my other apps - only some content files have changed.

Please update to the latest daily build. https://developer.coronalabs.com/downloads/daily-builds/ and try that.

Rob;

I just installed the lastest daily build and still get the same “Build Error #1: Failed to Build. More information may be available in the Simulator console” - and there, in the console… no errors, nothing that would give me a hint.

UPDATE: I am testing right now to copy files one by one from an old (working) project folder to the new app folder, each time making a new build. Let’s see where it crashes…

Apparently, it was a mistake in the build.settings - but I have no idea what was different before (and I rebuilt that file twice already…) But, the important thing is, the build went through now!  :smiley:
