Build Failed ... using XCODE 7.1.1

When i try to build for iOS i receive:

BuildID: 5643392878fe9

Error: Template not found.

Build Number: 2015.2768

Platform: iphone

Platform Version: unknown

Template Type: basic

Note that the build dialog contains no iOS SDK choices … blank box in the dialog.  No options available either.

This would seem to be at the root of the issue.

Is XCode 7.1.1 not supported?

Assist appreciated

m

reinstalled the xcode 7.1.1 and now i have choices … oddness with update i guess.

Could you please explain more details?
I have the same problem using version 2772 in my Macbook Pro with El Capitan and Xcode 7.1.1.

I have deleted the Xcode and reinstall again. But it still does not have the options.

In the log, there is an error message:

ERROR: unexpected output from ‘simctl’.  Cannot enumerate Xcode iOS Simulator

with a bunch of simulator device list, and also:

Corona Simulator[230:1706] *** Assertion failure in -[NSMenuItem setTitle:], /Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/AppKit/AppKit-1404.13/Menus.subproj/NSMenuItem.m:949

Nov 17 03:13:04.384 2015-11-17 15:13:04.383 Corona Simulator[230:1706] Invalid parameter not satisfying: aString != nil

with a stack trace.

Not sure … i remember something else trying to run and it said it needed to install apple tools … but that is about all i remember… after that xcode was fully installed.  Prior to that something was messed.

Ok, it works, but don’t know why. lol.

Two possibilities:

  1. Different ip. I tried in office today and now I try at my home.

  2. Installed the iOS 9.0 simulator in Xcode. I just downloaded and installed the simulator in office, but do not have time to try it.

Anyway, thanks for your help.
