I’m using trial version for Windows and trying to build my app for Android 2.2 with debug key. Yesterday there were no issues with that at all. But today every time I launch the build it starts build process and then shows me error - “Build failed. Check console window for errors” - but the window is empty. what should i do to make my builds? [import]uid: 31161 topic_id: 7091 reply_id: 307091[/import]
Your terminal window is probably empty because you closed and launched your Corona Simulator once again. It will only receive debugging informations when you launch the terminal, which autostarts the simulator.
I for myself got same error today. In the console it says:
2011-02-24 15:50:40.858 Corona Simulator[1619:903] Connection error: (corona.get) ({
“/kWSHTTPResponseMessage” = “{url = http://developer.anscamobile.com/services/xmlrpc; status = HTTP/1.1 200 OK}”;
Reading this, I think the servers from ansca are down at the moment. Sadly they’re -9 hours from my timezone, so they are in their beds, dreaming happy dreams, not realizing the horrible hours we devs in europe are going through right now in that moment, not being able to build

Thanks for response. In general it’s pretty strange because in couple 1 hour after that I’ve managed to build app on my other machine (at work 
). But probably you’re right.

Probably I do really need support from corona guys. I’ve just tried to build app again - and again I’ve got the same error message and empty console screen (only the text which was written by simulator on startup). The wierd thing is that I’ve also tried to build smaller app and it was ok. Corona Team, can I send you the zip-archive so you will try to do it on your side and identify the problem? i have the same issue. i’ve been trying for a while and have yet to successfully build.
i’m running trial on windows vista 64. i’ve installed all the necessary support software.
i’m trying to build for android 2.2
i’m just learning, so my level of experience is very low, but i’ve carefully checked the sample programs i’ve written (most of them tutorials) and found no errors. none appear in the console.
i’ve scoured the internet and followed all anscamobile procedures to the letter, but still no go. any suggestions? i would really like to see a build on my phone to see if this developer package is for me.

Wow, after I finally got it to build once and got past the “incorrect time” errors, I swapped out the .caf for a .mp3 (thank you for using the wrong audio types for Windows/Android users), but now I can’t build, and I get this EXACT problem.

And it is strange that half an hour ago it was Ok.
And also there is no any string in console window.

guys, I solved my problem by removing the audio files from my folder that the corona does not accept the build.
But I do not know what The extension of the corona android audio to accept.

still haven’t had build success with the demo. do you have to have the paid version to build an apk? that wouldn’t make much sense, i guess.
