Build for Android - Could not connect to server. Please check your internet connect.

Hello,

Few weeks ago and during 3 months, I had no problem for building for Android.

Suddenly, I tried this week to build, I got the same error over and over : “Could not connect to server. Please check your internet connection.”

I did nothing special with my computer / firewall / router.

I even desactivated my firewall and restart my router to test if it was the problem …

Am I alone in this situation ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Remarks :

  • Corona simulator 2013.1137

  • OS : Windows 7 x64 (Japanese)

I deactivated your account.  Can you try again.  It should prompt you to login again

I fixed the problem by launching IE and configuring it to be able to connect to Internet.

I have no idea why I could use Corona Simulator before “without configuring IE”.

Are you using Windows XP?  I know that you had to do some weird stuff with IE to get the internet working correctly.  I think it wants to set up a proxy and that could cause problems…

No, I’m using Windows 7 x64.

Still it may have been some weird MS networking thing.  I know our stuff doesn’t like going through proxies all that well.
