Build for device fails

I am getting the error that says I can’t build for the device. I CAN build using xCode and deploy to my iPod, so I am pretty sure all of that is working.

While answering this could you maybe point me to an explanation of how the build process works? When it says connecting to server what is it doing? What else happens during this process? [import]uid: 56612 topic_id: 9491 reply_id: 309491[/import]

Make sure you save your build to the Desktop and not into a folder somewhere. That solved my issues at least. Good luck! [import]uid: 22392 topic_id: 9491 reply_id: 34724[/import]

Actually I solved the problem without saving the build to the Desktop. I have it going to my own folder.

I don’t run a lot of programs so I like to pin those I do use to the dock. I had done this with the Corona app. For some reason, however, when you start Corona from this docked icon it does NOT start the terminal window that normally starts with it.

When I start Corona from the application / corona / simulator shortcut icon everything builds just fine.

I don’t know what the difference could possibly be, but there it is. [import]uid: 56612 topic_id: 9491 reply_id: 34833[/import]
