Build Server Problem!

To CORONA TEAM,

Apparently, about 2 out of every 3 builds I’ve created in the past 12 hours have resulted in the server creating an error based upon the following plug-in:

CoronaProvider.native.popup.safariView

But the fact that it finally works when I’m persistent makes me wonder if your server is overburdened.

Can you try again?

Yes. I can ping just fine. The following issues are holding me up from submitting to Apple on Tuesday:

E/Corona  (23812): ERROR: Unable to resolve host “monetize-api.coronalabs.com”: No address associated with hostname

E/Corona  (23812): ERROR: Unable to resolve host “stats.coronalabs.com”: No address associated with hostname

V/Corona  (23812): Loading via reflection: CoronaProvider.ads.admob.LuaLoader
I/Corona  (23812): [Lua::RuntimeDispatchEvent()] WARNING: This function is deprecated. Use Lua::DispatchRuntimeEvent() instead.

 

With the DispatchRuntimeEvent deprecated, because this is a Corona kernal issue (not in my game), I am particularly concerned that if I release my game next week, immediately upon release of iPhone 7 running the new iOS version 10, could my app be unable to run literally a day after it’s released?

I think you have another thread about the unresolved domain names. Can you add the last to entries here to that thread. Its best when I take engineering a single thread of related problems. These issues are not build server related so this isn’t a great thread for me to share with them.

I’m not sure I understand precisely what you are referring to

This is a thread about build server issues. If I send this to the engineers they are going to try and solve a build server issue, which I don’t believe you are experiencing any further.

Your last couple of posts are about plugin internals mis-behaving. You have another thread about that. I need to send that thread to our engineers to see if they can help  you. But your last couple of posts here about the dispatching of run time events and the in-ability to resolve DNS names is really good information to include in your other thread and not mis-direct this thread.

Is the build server running slow the last few days? Usually I’m able to build an +80mb app in a few mins, but now it takes almost 10 mins to build a +40mb app. This issue seems to occur only for IOS builds, as building for android seems to be as fast as usual (i.e.; 2-3 minutes).

An iOS build took 15 seconds just now for me. Have you added or changed plugins recently?

To close out this issue, I just went away, came back, and everything worked fine.
