build settings in xcode or build.settings?

This might be a really basic question, but with Enterprise, are the build settings still handled through the regular Corona build.settings file? Or can they be overwritten when building in XCode?

For example, if I want to target iOS6, is it better to target it the build.settings file, or in XCode?

Yes, the build.settings should transfer over to the Info.plist. 

You can also just edit the Info.plist directly.
