For the codes written with Corona SDK for smart phones or tablets, is it possible
to generate executables that can run directly on Windows? That will be really
cool and save developers a lot of time. I believe it’s not hard to enable this feature
given that the code can run on Windows-based simulator so well.

This is a frequently asked for feature and we are very aware of the request. I’m not sure where it is in the queue, but the big feature that we have to implement before we can tackle that is the plugin frame work and that’s getting close.

If I remember the blog post correctly, we are hoping to have something with Corona Cloud out in 1Q13. I think Walter threw out a January date, but we’ve stopped issuing target dates because there are other surprise things that get in the way.
As for PubNub, honestly I’ve had no conversations with the team on it. I don’t know what the existing relationships are with PubNub or how Corona Cloud will impact it.
