Building for iOS page down?

Looks like “Build for iOS” information/blog page just disappeared.  Anyone know if it is being updated?

Hi @eik,

The page you were Googling was considerably outdated and should not be referenced.

Here is the current guide, which was updated very recently with the current process, screenshots, etc.:

http://docs.coronalabs.com/guide/distribution/iOSBuild/index.html

I also suggest you look for resources/links in Corona University, which will be the most current and accurate we have:

http://www.coronalabs.com/resources/tutorials/getting-started-with-corona/

Best regards,

Brent

Thank you!

The iOSBuild page still says that building the app is done using the Corona build menu:

Select FileBuildiOS… and the following window will appear:

I’m currently trying to build for iOS (but I don’t have a mac so it’s a mess) and this step looks broken.

Hi @defossez.aurelien,

Can you be more specific on what you mean by “broken”? This step remains the same as before, and it should be working/presented correctly in the guide.

Thanks,

Brent Sorrentino

Well, in the Corona menus, there is not any “Build…” menu anymore, only a “Build for Android” command. But the tutorial tells to open the “Build…” menu to build for iOS.

What I’m saying is this menu seems to not exist anymore. Or maybe I missed something.

(Precision: I’m on Windows, maybe on Mac this option is present but not on Windows?)

There’s no way to build for iOS unless you have access to a Mac afaik.

Yes, this is correct. On Mac, you can build for iOS or Android. On Windows, you can build for Android only.

Ok, maybe it is worth the precision in the tutorial.

Thanks!
