Building For Nook And Amazon Errors With Daily Build 1056

I am not sure if we are supposed to be testing the new build 2.0 setup for Nook and Kindles.  But i just tried to do a build for them on a Windows PC and got a error when building for Both Nook And Amazon.

Google Play Build worked Normal.

error i get for Amazon and nook are the same:

[Build Error #5]

Build Failed.  Check the console window for errors.

The console window shows nothing but this:

Using custom Build Id b18705b8d36feb4df0e101d42aaa7977

Just tested this same code and app with Daily Build 1056 on my Mac, and it works fine.  just additional info.

Corona 2013.1056

iMac OSX 10.8.3

I can confirm the error when building for Amazon.

Note: builds fine when build 2.0 is disabled.

In the console I get the following with build 2.0 activated:

Hi!

I just noticed that more info is now given when compiling. I’m using Corona build 2013.1058.

The output with more detailed error info is given below:

And I am not officially beta testing, just using the most recent daily build 1058 and I am getting a similar error when I tried to build for Android devices (ios is fine)

Connection error: (corona.get) ({

    “/kWSHTTPResponseMessage” = " { parsed response, url = http://developer.anscamobile.com/services/xmlrpc, status = 200 }";

I get no errors when I use the previous daily build (1057)

I can confirm what Screaming Leaf says.

(Note: Google Play, Samsung and -none- are OK for me)

Using build 2013.1058

Building for Amazon and Nook get the following error with Build 2.0 OFF.

Guys that are getting that error message. Can you remove the beta preference, or change it to corona.build.6 and retry?

I’m looking into the android/nook/kindle issue now.

(admin is me btw, was logged in as the wrong person :))

Nope…

Building for Amazon with Build 2.0 both ON (using corona.build.6) or OFF results in the same error as above.

The nook/kindle build issue should be taken care of now.

yep. now it’s working… :slight_smile:

Corona 2013.1056

iMac OSX 10.8.3

I can confirm the error when building for Amazon.

Note: builds fine when build 2.0 is disabled.

In the console I get the following with build 2.0 activated:
