I received an email from an organization using my app with JAMF MDM (mobile device management), and they said my “bundle identifier” is not being updated so it cannot be managed by their MDM solution.
I’m not sure what they mean exactly and am trying to get more details, but here is the info I have from them:
Hello folks. We ran into a problem managing your app on iPads with our JAMF MDM. The “bundle” identifier for this app is not being updated on the device when the app installs. As a result, i cannot use the features of the MDM to insure that updates are being installed automatically for the app. This is the only app that has this issue. Any thoughts on what might be going on?
It was JAMF that suggested I contact you. They are saying there is data not being populated by the application install which they look at to determine version
Any thoughts on what could be missing?
