hello i am currently trying to make my own game however i searched high and low and couldn’t find out how to make a button when touched to go to a new scene

I would recommend working through the “Getting Started” tutorials provided by Corona Labs. They’ll give you a good understanding of the basics whilst creating your first game.

I agree with @appletreeman. The Getting Started guide starts with the premise that you’ve built your game in main.lua and now you want to set up a menu and use scenes and talks you through that process.
