Hi - my apps have supporting music, which is also available on iTunes (music library, not apps), as well as Amazon Music, Google Music, Spotify etc.
I was under the impression from Apple that I couldn’t post links to iTunes music content, but I have now seen several apps that offer this.
So - how can I do this? On Apple devices, do I just expose the iTunes URL for my music, and then let the device sort out opening iTunes etc.? Not sure what would happen for Android / Google music links etc.
Also, I’d like to write some agnostic code that recognises the device type it’s running on, and then only expose the necessary links (i.e. iTunes on iPod/Phone/Pad, Amazon Music on Kindle Fire, Google music on Android etc.
So - is there an up-to-date recognised device types that I can check for within my code - to only expose the necessary links? Also, any example code would be appreciated.
Last question, can I expose a Spotify link within my app / code?
