You play an old man enjoying a nice day in the park until mutant flies come out of the trash can to attack you. Move and swat the flies as long as you can. Hit trees for apples to regenerate health, pick up the coins the flies drop to buy weapons and items from your friendly ‘vendor’ in the park.

The arms are rag doll physics objects, which is why they move funny, that is not going to change even though ppl keep telling me the arms aren’t realistic. There are multiple physics objects using different collision filters interacting in the same environment

4 difficulty types, 5 types of flies, 5 items and weapons
Game should be out by end of Summer 2012 for iOS (fingers crossed)

Haha, those arms are pretty funny, flailing around like that. Don’t change it, it’s not about realism and it gave me a good laugh seeing an old guy doing the robot :slight_smile:

Gameplay-wise, you seem to have a lot of space at the top half of the screen where not much happens - why not incorporate an extra element like the spaceship that moves across the top of the screen in Space Invaders? Maybe a bird dropping ehm, “things” that you have to avoid or something?

Seems like a fun game!

+1 - love the arms, hilarious.

It looks like quite a fun little game, nice graphics, good colors; I didn’t actually notice the space at the top while watching the video but I’d +1 the suggestion of a bird dropping … “things” … to be avoided or the like.

Hey thanks, you should have seen the arms before I “fixed” them, they were even more ridiculous!

I originally started developing this for my iPhone, but the ipad fills up youtube video space more, and I have it zoomed out for iPad because of it’s size and end up with all that space in the top. Launching flies up in the air is now what it’s primarily for now, lol.
