Calendar Sample - Feedback Please!

Hi!
I was looking for a calendar sample in here and on the Internet but I couldn’t find any. So I wrote one myself. For now it’s just a monthly overview where you can change the month back and forth with the help of buttons. But I am planning to make an add event-function with SQL-integration, Week/Day overview and get rid of the buttons so you can just swipe back and forth instead.

Did you ever figure out the add event-function with SQL-integration?  Great work by the way!

Funnily enough I’m working on a calendar app as well, although no creating the events in the app (planned, likely or even thought about to be honest). Once again corona’s performance at rendering surprises me with its speed, although setting up takes a noticable time for the year view (maybe about a second on my galaxy S2), but the calendar is quite full with test data.
