I am running some experiments using Charles web proxy and found another bug in inmobi ads implementation. Here it is;
Calling ads.hide() does not stop background http ad requests, it only make ads display unvisible. Requesting ads without displaying them surely causes a bad effect on our CTR, and this situation could be a performance penalty in some circumstances.
You could easily reproduce the problem simply using inmobi ads sample coming with the corona sdk and inspecting network http packets with a http proxy like Charles.
Affected builds;
Tested on 706 and latest stable (704), but i am pretty sure that it also effects latest daily builds
