The camera is accessed through the API media.show()

Thank you. I’ve been needing this for a year and I’d hope that (especially on iOS?) this should be straightforward.

This feature adds a lot of WOW and polish to Corona - a hole slew of applications will be possible given the strong WebView/video player and networking possibilities already present.

Can you get back to me privately if this is not going to happen anytime soon - then I might want to look into Enterprise as Indie to make this happen. [import]uid: 5822 topic_id: 34963 reply_id: 139135[/import]

I can’t really give you a date for video capture. I see a couple of video things on the roadmap but I think that once we get Project Gluon out, it will change things considerably.

Enterprise should be able to do what you want now.
