i haven’t found any answer about this or anywhere on the roadmap on when this is going to be supported. is there any ETA on this?
as soon as this is supported i have a huge project w/ corona i’d like to start (involving 10+ licenses)

Support for accessing the camera on Android has been in for a long time… Please see:

You do need to have the proper permissions in your build.settings. Now Corona only lets you bring up the native camera tool. You don’t have direct access to the device (this is true for iOS as well).
