can i ask something about iOS developer program?

Hi there, i am curious regarding options in iOS developer program. I was
given two options, individual and company. I am aware that I can only
submit my app with my company name listed below all my apps if I enroll
the iOS developer program as company, correct? And if I choose to enroll
as individual, can I NOT list my real name there and instead use
whatever I want to use as the app creator name there? Let’s say I want
to list “Yoila” as my app creator name in app store, can I do that as
individual developer in iOS?

another question. how if I have 3 team members and I enroll as an
individual? Would my team members be able to edit/test the app using my
account ID in developer program from different devices? [import]uid: 114765 topic_id: 25544 reply_id: 325544[/import]

If you enroll as an individual, you MUST use your legal name as the publisher of your app. You can’t use a business name, a dba name, or a pseudonym.

If you enroll as a business, you MUST be a real business, not a sole proprietorship with a dba.

If you have 3 team members and you enroll as an individual, you can add their devices to the provisioning portal for testing stuff. You can even set them up with access to iTunes Connect.

Apple’s dev site is a much better source of answers to these questions. [import]uid: 44647 topic_id: 25544 reply_id: 103239[/import]

What toby2 said is correct the only thing thats a little confusing is " If you enroll as an individual, you MUST use your legal name as the publisher of your app. You can’t use a business name, a dba name, or a pseudonym." Because You will be given 1 chance to pick a name in my case i Choose LeivaGames so all my apps shows up as LeivaGames but my Real name only shows up if you click on the app scroll all the way down and it says company: My Real Name just sharing my $0.02 Good Luck! Brad, if you register as an individual you can still put your company name in. The company name shows up at the top right under your app name. The only difference is, when you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the app description (where it shows the size, date released etc.) that’s where it will show your real name. You can also still have an itunes link with your company name that will show all of your apps i.e. http://www.itunes.com/30belowstudios

If you want an example, search my game “Tiny Toy Chest” in the app store on your device. You will see my company name but my real name is buried in the bottom of the description. I am registered as an individual as is the majority of developers. [import]uid: 31262 topic_id: 25544 reply_id: 103293[/import]

hello there, that sounds great. I think i would just pick individual license.

however, one thing that really attract my concern. Basically I asked the same question to apple itself and here’s their answer:

[text]Additionally, you may register up to 100 testing devices to your account for your team members once you are enrolled in our iOS Developer Program, however, according to the Registered Apple Developer Agreement which you have agreed, the Apple ID and password you use to login cannot be shared in any way or with any one.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Apple ID and password and for any activity in connection with your account. [/text]

I dont get it. Testing up to 100 devices BUT cannot share login? Then how can I test those 100 devices? My partner lives in different city with me. How are we supposed to test different devices if we cant use the same login ID from our macs? [import]uid: 114765 topic_id: 25544 reply_id: 103791[/import]
