Can I detect if a certain user setting is on/ off?

Can I detect whether e.g. the user has Multitasking Gestures turned on, or turned off? (It would be helpful for my iPad app because I need a help text if gestures are enabled, as it can conflict with the app.)

I don’t believe Corona has that capability at this point in time.

I suggest using a simple message in your app letting the user know the setting must be on to properly use your application.
