Can object.isSensor be a bit temperamental?

Hi guys I seem to have a random problem with object.isSensor, I am using it to control a barrier to my player to let him in and out of an elevator. It works more than it doesn’t but very occasionally I cannot pass through the object without backing away from it and trying again. It is the same piece of code that triggers it each time and I think it is Ok.

Inherently there should be no problem with this, so it could be your code or how you set up the physics sensor. Check carefully and try to observe any pattern of behavior to help figure out what’s going wrong on the isolated instances.
