I understand that if you jailbreak your phone then you can download supposedly apps for purchase for free. (so bad)
Anyway, Is it true that you can ALSO get the instore purchases for free also???
Is there any way to stop that?
What about in android? That is most important. Anyway to stop them getting instore purchases for free?
Next Question - is there a way to know if the phone a person is using is jailbroken? I mean if you looked at it?

Some weeks ago there was a newsflash about a big company (not sure which one) who sold an App through the AppStore and if the user was using a jailbroken phone then the app just did not start or did not work properly. So they have found a way to detect if the user is playing on a jailbroken phone.
However the problem is that you are also able to BUY apps from the appstore even if your phone is jailbroken… They got many bad ratings and had to remove the DRM system in the next update.
I don´t know if this is possible to do with Corona but there is one basic rule for piracy:
If people want to play your game for free then there will be a way to do so.
Not sure how this works with IAPs but if you are planning to make a “Premium” app then you could potentially upload a modified version to “Cydia” or something like this by yourself and make some adjustments so that the “illegal” players are not able to play your game how it is supposed to be played.
Another possibility is to add a warning or something like this to this modified version that suggest the “illegal” players to buy the full game from the official AppStore and support you the developers.
