can someone has got the Particle Candy Codes

Hello There,

I am trying to make some special effects and animations. I have seen that Particle candy is something that can make it very easily, I don.t want to waste my money if its of no use to me. Is there someone who have bought it already and can share some code files with me so i can play with it and then buy.

It would be a great help to me if someone please share his codes with me.

Thanks,

Sahil

I don’t think you’ll find anyone here willing to do that.

However, there are a number of free alternatives:

I believe SSK2 also has a particle effects and is now free:

There is also this one, which i released at the beginning of the year.

Its not free but its quite able.

I’ve read somewhere that particle candy might not be supported anymore, or at least people are reporting that they are unable to get in contact with the creator. You could always try to send en email.

I think Particle Candy may still work, but please note that none of the Candy products have been updated since 2013. In the beginning the developer released updates regularly but I have a feeling the Candy products have been abandoned.

If you’re on a Mac you might be interested in Particle Designer.

@Nick: Thank you so much, I have seen these and i think this will not solve the problem, I am actually trying to make a big Nuclear Effect but i will play with this for some more time so may be i hit with some idea.

@ Anaqim: Thank you so much for quick reply, I have seen this once and read about this too somewhere, I will surely going to use this one only if i did not find any free version for that.

@Ingemar: Thank you Ingemar, You always helps in best possible way. You are right its never updated after 2013 and i while searching i too find Particle Designer 2.0 but unfortunately i am on Windows and so cannot use that for now.

Hi again,

Just want to say that Radiance works on both Windows as well as Mac, with a online preset system.

Next version will also be available on Android and possibly iOS.

Good luck!

Thank you Anaqim, I will wait till 9 here and then otherwise try this one.

I still occasionally tinker with Particle Candy and although it has some powerful features it isn’t very friendly to use.

The in-built particle engine offers much better performance and there are a variety of (paid and free) particle editors to use to design your effects.  I really can recommend the Radiance editor that Anaqim mentioned.  It’s really very easy to use and has some cool features.

*Please note that I am not in any way affiliated with Radiance.
