Cannot play remote videos for Android on Galaxy 6S Edge

Hello,

A few months ago I posted I was unable to play a remote video. I got a new samsung galaxy s6 edge. I install all of my apps on it to test with and no problem. I loaded the sample app to play a streaming video and same thing happens with it. The app loads and then loads the default video player on the screen showing the controls. Then it stops saying it cannot play this video.

The build settings has the internet permissions which was set by default anyways. I can not play any remote video for some reason. I have taken a video I made called skate.mp4 and played it within the app using native.NewVideo and played fine but that was with a local video in the resource directory. I tried remote with both the native.NewVideo and media.playVideo.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

UPDATE: I knew I could play MP4 files with corona because I did by playing one I had saved in the system resource directory. But for the heck of it I put a 3GP video file on my server and tried to play it from a remote location. It worked!

So it is strange I can play a MP4 file local but not remote. And I can play a 3GP file remote.
