Can't build for iOS

I have followed the certificate instructions step by step - and even deleted all certificates and stated from scratch.
When I try to build the app I’m getting:

Invalid signature (code or signature have been modified) failed to extract entitlements: 1
AssertMacros: entitlements_reqiested, At least need an application-identifier entitlements file: codesign_wrapper.c line: 879 - (null)

followed by a bunch of other, similar, errors.
I have seen that others have experienced this horror before, but couldn’t find a real solution for this. Please help, before I send my mac to Apple heaven (been spending the last 3 hours upgrading, signing, deleting, signing again and so on, so a bit cranky…).

Thanks!

One thought that may or may not be the case - but when you deleted certificates did you also delete all provisioning profiles associated with them? If you don’t do this keychain will repopulate with the same certificates and this can cause signing issues. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 29849 reply_id: 119693[/import]

Yes - I just went over all the steps, and deleted everything.
The weird thing is that I just tried that (again) - I did everything in order, according to the guide. When I try to create the ad-hoc profile, it asked me to add a certificate (even though I’ve done that already). So I provided the CA I got from the keychain process, and then it created a distribution certificate, in addition to the developer certificate I created according to the guide.

I hope I was clear… It’s late and I’m red in the face with rage. [import]uid: 44037 topic_id: 29849 reply_id: 119695[/import]

What guide were you following? (Link?) I’ve never had that cert request before and wonder if the guide was outdated. (I’m hoping fix ends up being easy, I know this stuff can be a total pain in the ass and really, really frustrating to the point of tears sometimes.) I was following this: http://developer.coronalabs.com/content/building-devices-iphoneipad
It felt only slightly outdated - some screens and buttons aren’t where the guide says they should be, so it looked as if it could still work. Maybe I somehow managed to do something wrong, but I followed the guide to the letter a few times, and nothing.
I DID manage to get this to work a couple of hours ago, after I have downloaded the most recent version of XCode. It has some certificate-organizing feature thing, which apparently did the job. I have no idea exactly what I’ve done, but for now - the game is running on my iPad, it looks awesome, and soon I’ll be ready to amaze you all with its amazingness.

Thanks! [import]uid: 44037 topic_id: 29849 reply_id: 119834[/import]

For future reference (you or anyone reading this) we actually have a more up to date thread in Device Builds sub forum.

I am thrilled you got this working; and I look forward to being amazed by its awesomeness  [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 29849 reply_id: 120004[/import]
