Can't get to online API Documentation

Not sure if this is wide-spread or just me, but…

I can get to here just fine: https://docs.coronalabs.com/

and all links work except for: https://docs.coronalabs.com/api/index.html

If I attempt to get there in any browser it downloads index.html instead of loading it in the browser.

It appears the Content-Type header is coming back as application/x-gzip instead of text/html.

Any ideas why this would be happening.

Both work for me

I have the same issue as Xorcist77 had.

Marek

I’ll report this to our system administrators.

Rob

If you’re having this issue, please try the following:

  1. Clear your Cache!

  2. Try a different browser that you’ve not access our documentation in.

  3. If that doesn’t work, please provide a specific URL that’s not working.

Neither our system administrators or myself can reproduce this. We are trying to force clear the cache on our side.

Rob

Can you try again?

Hello,

restart for Safari browser helped, on Firefox still do not work, link: https://coronalabs.com/learn (still downloading file index.html instead).

I tried to navigate by menu (Learn|API ref., and also copy paste link as above)

Regards,

Marek

Actually the first thing I did was clear my cache, then try another browser, then reboot, then try an entirely separate machine, followed by trying entirely different OSes (Linux, Android, iOS). All had the same issue, but whatever you did on the back-end cleared it up because it works everywhere now for me.

Thanks for that update @Xorcist77. We are glad it’s working. @Mjako, the link you provided is to our main website, not our documentation site (https://docs.coronalabs.com vs. https://coronalabs.com, they are different computers running totally different software). It sounds to me like you’re having some basic network connectivity issues beyond this issue with our documentation site.

What country are you located in?

Rob

I live in Poland.

As earlier, restart for Safari helps, I also tried Chrome - it also works from menu, not copy/paste link. Now I copied right link (https://docs.coronalabs.com) to Firefox and it still does not work Win and Mac OS. To be honest this is not big deal to me.

Thank you.

Marek

Wasn’t working for me on macOS 10.13.6 in any browser.

Clearing browser cache didn’t work.

Cleared the system DNS cache DID work.

Open terminal and type the following lines (you’ll need your password after the first one).

These ARE case sensitive:

sudo dscacheutil -flushcache sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

Hope this helps.
