Cant upload today..?

Im trying to upload and getting a message to say that iTunes Connect can’t be reached.

(And that increasingly annoying message about the developer cut on iAds… I’ve read it already, Apple!)

Is anyone else having this trouble today?

Yes. Some problem with iTunes today. Occurred when I tried to upload a new version of my app.
But it worked after I tried for some 5 or 6 times. [import]uid: 64174 topic_id: 24846 reply_id: 100785[/import]

Sunday morning 6.33 am here.
I still cant upload.
Ive installed 4.32 of Xcode now to see if that makes a difference, but it hasn’t.

Can everyone else upload?

Hey Jeff, any joy yet? [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 24846 reply_id: 100961[/import]

Not a thing.
Totally brick walled.

No reply from an email to Apple yesterday, either.

This error was before I installed 4.3.2 or I would suspect that as the issue.

But is it just me? Are other people uploading ? [import]uid: 108660 topic_id: 24846 reply_id: 100968[/import]

OK.Problem solved, but I really wish a couple of people had responded just to say ‘Mine works, you’re on your own…’

The problem:
Actually relates to that annoying message I have been seeing for days relating to iAds.
I don’t use iAds. Don’t really plan to. But at some point, Im pretty sure one of the stages I had to go through in iTunes connect was to sign up for this just in case.

Apple have changed the terms for iAds.
OK. Yawn.

But the message in red was actually symptomatic of the Application Uploader failing.

Bottom line:

Now that they have changed the agreement, you have to

**- download the new agreement.

  • tick a box to say you have read it.
  • THEN Application Uploader will allow you to upload files again.**

I can’t see anything in iTunes Connect that even hints that these steps are possible, let alone mandatory. But documented here in case anyone else runs into the same issue, which has been a bit worrying.

Thank you for updating.

The problem is sometimes when one person gets an issue others experience it too but not consistently, so saying “mine is working fine!” wont always shed light.

Personally I haven’t seen this issue before so thank you for the info and steps to resolve.

Hopefully in the future this can help others
