Certificates, Identifiers and Profiles

I need to anderstand. Whan do I need new Certificates?

Whan do I need new ID?

Whan do I need new Profile?

For example, if I havedeveloper Profile, I can make a new one and use it whithout problem?

And if I have store Profile do I have to keep him and can’t make new one? do I have another certificates?

I hope you understand my question.

I do not know enough about all this apple thing.

Please explain it to me.

Hi @idanahal3,

Yes I know but I want to understand more. this guide  just tells me what to do.

please can someone answer my questions?

For Apple, you need new certificates every year. They are good for 365 days after generating them. App ID’s don’t expire. Once you create them, they are good.  Once a year, you can delete test devices from your test device list.

When you create a new certificate, you have to regenerate the provisioning profiles so they have the new certificate in them.

On Android you define the length of your keystore and generally people set it for 99,999 days which is nearly 274 years.
