Certified Developers

On and off, as links take me from one site to another, I have seen a fair few sites with a Corona Certified Developer graphic. There are a fair few developers that have this, like a studio list, do you mind sharing if you are a certified Developer with CoronaSDK by replying to this post.

Those that are not, please do not post asking “How Can I get One?” let this thread be with only the responses from those that are.

cheers,

My graphic isn’t on my site yet, but I are one. Maybe I upload that this weekend…

So do we make our own “Certified Developer” graphic, or is this something Ansca generates for us? [import]uid: 16734 topic_id: 11375 reply_id: 61026[/import]

I think AM is giving you that title. And it seems it depends on how nice you are to them. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 11375 reply_id: 61043[/import]

If there is something I can do to earn the title, I’d be glad to write tutorials, provide samples, answer questions in the forums… Oh, wait… I’ve been doing that this week.

Maybe that qualifies, or maybe there is some other requirement. [import]uid: 16734 topic_id: 11375 reply_id: 61048[/import]

  1. Earning the title has nothing to do with how nice you are to Ansca. Although being mean never wins anyone any favours, either

  2. Ken, it’s great you’ve spent some time this week doing things that are helpful to others - hopefully that is something you continue to do. I’m sure people appreciate it.

PS - I got given a graphic when I got certified. I couldn’t make one myself, my art skills are non-existant. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 11375 reply_id: 61142[/import]

Peach,

Perhaps you can tell me the difference between being a “registered” developer and a “certified” developer? How does one go about becoming “certified”?

Thanks,

Ken [import]uid: 16734 topic_id: 11375 reply_id: 61166[/import]

Hi Ken,

The difference between being “registered” and being “certified” is how much you have contributed to the community over a period of time  It’s not very common.

There’s also the ambassador program which you could look into

PS - Don’t be too upset, even Walter isn’t certified  [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 11375 reply_id: 61199[/import]

I’m not upset. Just nice to know the difference. Thanks for the info, I’ll see what I can do over the next year to earn my badge  [import]uid: 16734 topic_id: 11375 reply_id: 61206[/import]
