Changing dimensions on App Preview

I made my video and it works for the IPAD.  Now I’m trying to adjust the video to the other sizes required by the App Store but I can’t figure out how to do it.  I have iMovie and QuickTime.

Does anyone know how to make these changes using iMovie or QuickTime?

If not, does anyone have a software they could recommend?

Thanks,

Lori

I’m almost sure the answer here is you have to make one video per aspect ratio, but maybe, just maybe someone with pro tools and savvy knows how to do this from a single video?

However, the aspect ratio will be all goofed up if you convert the video from an iPad to and iPhone.

That makes sense.  Now I need to play around and figure out how to set it in iMovie before I replicate.

Thanks for the quick response.

Have a great day.

I did some more research and found this gem of information:

) Download Squared - MPEG Streamclip: http://www.squared5.com   (FREE)

  1. Then open your video file with it.

  2. Click “File” > “Export to Quicktime”

  3. Set your desired resolution

  4. Export it

  5. Then double click the exported file and Quicktime will go through a “converting” process. This step is very important. If you don’t have Quicktime convert it, the upload will fail in iTunes connect. It will save it as a new file called “YourFile - Converted” (It took me a whole day to realize this!)

  6. Upload the converted file to iTunes connect!
