Changing from Free to paid.

Hi, 

I want to change my app which is currently on the app store right now from Free to paid. 

I was just wondering if I do this will it affect anything ? Such as the ranking in the app store, ratings etc

If your app is on Google Play (and many other Android stores), you cannot make a free app into a paid app without releasing a totally new app with a different app ID (com.yourdomain.newapp).   On iOS with iTunes Connect you can change your pricing whenver you want to from free to paid to free to paid, etc.

Now if you change your price from free to paid, you can expect that your number of downloads will drop.  By how much will depend on the value of your app and your customer’s willingness to pay.
