From what I can tell, the “Chapter 1” is a relatively new section of the Corona docs. Hopefully this means that they will be adding more chapters in the near future. In fact, the bottom of the chapter one page says “Stay tuned for additional chapters in this guide, including chapters on sprites, scenes, audio, physical collisions, and more. In the meantime, experiment with this simple game, adjust some properties and parameters, and see what happens!”
In the meantime, I have a couple of very helpful recommendations. A couple of them are free but the others cost a small amount of money. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend any Corona videos on YouTube except those published by Corona Labs and CoronaGeek. The others seem to be out of date or incomplete, including CheetoMeesketo’s videos. If you like videos though, I highly recommend Daniel William’s video courses on Udemy. Both of them are linked to below. Daniel also has blog, also linked to below. I have found all of these resources extremely useful as I’ve developed my Corona SDK and Lua skills.
