Anyone using Chartboost might want to check their games out on an android device I think their ad network just got knocked offline not sure why yet, but I am getting a network timeout across all my games that use chartboost.

To be clear no code has changed and no build updates have changed and using a proxy I can see that the actual network (not the website) but the network is timed out.

So if you have a way to switch your ad network you might want to do so for a bit as luck would have it I can change mine remotely.

With my code, if ads.isAdAvailable() returns anything but true, it is supposed to choose another ad (either Vungle or house ad.)

However, it looks like ads.isAdAvailable returns true (when in fact it isn’t true) – as a result, it skips the ad screen all together   Yikes.

yeah i have something similar going on but also have a remote json file that i can switch to like 1,2,3 etc. that will override my rotation.

On chartboost they are just bombing out either network time out or calls the load then never shows, and while my stuff fails gracefully it still isn’t working so switched all mine to admob for the moment.

I have 1 app set to chartboost at the moment so i can test to see when they come back online so if i hear anything i will let you know :slight_smile:

With mine, users wouldn’t notice anything (because it’s as if ads are removed all together) – but then, what’s the point of having Chartboost at all.

You should check your revenue on chartboost as well I saw the drop starting a couple days ago then went to investigate and thats when I saw what was happening.
