Recently I’m asking chatGPT to create a full solar2d app, it takes me around 30 minutes or less to create a simple app, and a few days to create a complex one.
I also gave it a very large social app, it changed and enhanced the graphics entirely for all screens
It also creates the graphics for me and places them in correct folders
No Bugs, No Mistakes.
It writes much better code than i would ever be able to.
Also i was able to publish my apps to apple app store without an iMAC which i thought was impossible, I used to pay money to a friend who has an iMAC, i’m using Gethub now for this.
I don’t really have a clue on where Ai is taking us, and I hope that this is something good forever, and it won’t backfire on us developers in the near future
I asked chatGPT if there was a way to publish my solar2d App to app store without an iMAC
it replied that gethub is the perfect tool
so i asked it for a step by step guidance
it will smoothly guide you through the process, because it is not simple… specially when you publish for the first time … first time publishing takes about 20-30 minutes ( i mean only sending the build to app store, the rest you have to do it from app store directly like snapshots, and other required data)
it will give you links, and powershell commands
and please keep your passwords, secret keys, ipa files, certificates, etc. in notepad files that you can return to at any time…
once you make the first build … subsequent builds will take you 2 minutes only
there’s no clear manual for this because it depends on you scenario, like do you have app store account or not, gethub account or not, do you have provisioning files and certificates or not (to create new ones, it will also direct you)
it is very simple when you ask chatGPT for detailed step by step guidance
