checking variables in the variables window

Hello,

What does the variables window do in glider 2.0?

I an earlier version I could see which variables were active/used. If I forgot to nil a variable in a screen I could pause the app and see what variables where loaded.

Now I just see a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with my app but are the things corona loads.

I can’t see my globals (well can’t find them anymore)

Has this been removed/changed? Or am I doing something wrong?

this is what I mean.

This was under the pause option and I was able to edit the variables and see what happened.

Now something similar is placed under a breakpoint. But it is just a tad different. Now It only shows at the breakpoint. When I resume the code to continue after the breakpoint I can’t seem to get my variables again until I hit another breakpoint.

Hello Juf,

Sorry about the delay in getting to you.

We will add an option to remove the environment specific globals in a future update.

As for the second issue we are not fully clear on what you mean. Please elaborate on it.

I actually like seeing all the environment variables so it would be great to have an option to remove them or keep them. Please don’t just remove them altogether. Thanks

@ksan,

Yes, there will be an option to remove or keep them.
