[closed] dofile(filename) its LUA.. but not in Corona!!??

Hi,
I came to the point where I would really love to split
code into pieces as often done in PHP and also possible in LUA

— Official LUA Definition

dofile(filename)

Opens the file named dateiName and is executing it at Lua-code.

Return: what the file is returning as result of file code.

With this function we will be able to split our project into any separate files. It seems as it has been writen in one pour.

Please can we get that very useful Command in Corona??

Update:

  • I was reading that Ansca arguments with Apple does not allow compilation while runtime.

Why does it have to be compiled while runtime???

Couldn’t it be done, we as Devs just get that feature from Corona
and CORONA … before creating our iOS/Android Code, does create
LUA Files that put that pieces together.

That would help us Devs to program even more effective and Apple
gets one piece of code

Logic??

We would all love this but apple don’t allow it so there is nothing we can do.

Maybe start a petition about it to apple ? Until they allow it we can’t support it i’m afraid [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 21019 reply_id: 82999[/import]
