Getting Started Newbie Questions

Hi

Looking for some advise or link for the best method to retrieve and return data remotely. Example would be to an hosted sql server database, Windows  Azure via JSON, or has anyone integrated Corona with Windows Azure Mobile Services?

No experience with Windows Azure but you really want to check out http://coronium.io/

lua code on cloud with direct access to MongoDB + MySQL. You can use network calls though Coronium possibly to rope in other db.
