Code works in simulator but does not in xCode simulator or on device

This would not be much of an issue if the app was to run in the simulator alone, but if it does not work in the device or on xCode simulator, I think that is a serious issue.

This is related to masking,
Masking does not work correctly on the the iPhone4. I guess it has something to do with the dynamic resizing which on an iPhone reduces the size of the images to half.

However, despite CoronSDK being quick to work with, takes away all of the time saved even with *stable* builds (it is understandable that daily builds could be shaky/buggy).

Here’s a video to demonstrate code working fine on the simulator then when it is compiled, and run on the xCode simulator, it just does not work.

could there be any resolutions on masking and related issues? I hope this is a CoronaSDK related issue, given that there have been a couple of *this is not a coronaSDK related issue* type answers recently.
