I compiled the Compass and GPS samples and put them on my TMobile MyTouch 3G phone. When I try running them they blow up with a “The application … has stopped unexpectedly” error. I have tried compiling as 1.6 and 2.2 and neither works. Any ideas?

BUMP - whatever happened with this? I am trying to use the sample on my Galaxy s Tmobile ( yes my GPS works ) but I get no data in the app. All text boxes are empty.

dont you need to set specific feature permissions for android builds?

Actually the app did start working without that change you suggested. but it seems very very slow getting the GPS data at times.
I posted a new thread on it. The GPS event does not always seem to fire.
