Continue receiving password error!

10 minutes ago I built one app successfully but 10 minutes later I got this error. It keeping ask for password. I’m sure I’ve inputted the right username and password.

Hello v1beta,

Did you by any chance change your username/email address in your account between the 1st build and the 2nd one? (It’s unlikely, but I thought I’d ask so we can figure out what might be going on).

Also, delete these two files in your prefs folder at: username/library/Preferences/ folder:

com.anscamobile.ratatouille.plist
com.anscamobile.Corona_Simulator.plist

And try building again.

i keep getting a similar error

i haven’t changed my email address or password and i deleted the files that you mention.
when i try to open the simulator, the license agreement comes up and when i enter e-mail address/password i get the “Incorrect e-mail and/or password” pop up along with

I have a similar problem. Specifically, a box opens asking for my pass with my email address pre-populated. I am sure I have been entering the pass correctly. I checked by logging into the site. This problem started happening very suddenly.

I am using the trial version on a mac. I can’t find even find those preference files on my hard drive. Here’s what the terminal has to say about it:

I am having the same problem. Suddenly I am getting this password error, but I can login here (obviously).

I am also using the Trial version of the Corona SDK on a mac.

I am seeing the same problem. Can’t get past password error problem.
There’s only one file in the Preference library, and deleting it doesn’t help.

Keeps promting for password and says it’s incorrect.

I can log into the forums and edit my account.

I am getting a similar issue on the Windows simulator. A pop up asks for my password but when I enter the password it says Incorrect email/password.

Same issue as everyone else. Trial version, built earlier today, now keep getting pop up for password, I enter the correct password, tells me it’s incorrect and then I’m SOL. Please don’t make me go back to Eclipse and IntelliJ. [import]uid: 37203 topic_id: 15589 reply_id: 57912[/import]

I am also experiencing this. It was fine earlier today and now when I try to build the apk it asks me for my password, I correctly type it in but still says its wrong.

Still having the issue today as well. Thanks for acknowledging it. Definitely surfaces some limitations on the remote compile model you guys have. Hopefully you resolve it soon.

One interesting thing to note – the only reason I even had to compile is because I was testing the webpopup. It would be awesome if that worked in the simulator…

I also wanted to note (for some of the others in this thread) that this is the first time i’ve ever had any problems with the build server, so don’t let this one time turn you off to Corona. It’s pretty amazing, and I’ll still be subscribing to the full version within a few weeks.

Same error here. I used the 2011.591 version of Corona and tried to build it for iOS. It was working perfectly fine yesterday afternoon. But now, I get the password login error. FYI please… thanks!

Just installed yesterday and everything was fine. Came in today and get the error on a build with the simulator.
