Converting between Xcode and Android

Hi guys. I just found out about this SDk and I have a question. I couldn’t find anything via search. If I code a project, release it on the app store, can I import it into your SDK and then convert it to Android? I’m probably going to end up picking up this SDk anyway, but it would be great if I didn’t have to recode my earlier work. please, any info would be great.

Also, are you guys looking into Windows mobile 7 support? That would be awesome! Code once, and get three platforms! [import]uid: 6337 topic_id: 881 reply_id: 300881[/import]

Yes. You can code in Corona for iPad, iPhone and Android.

We are not committed to Windows 7. But we are monitoring it closely.

Thanks.

Windows Phone 7 does not have the option of an NDK at this point. We do hope they add this. [import]uid: 54 topic_id: 881 reply_id: 2026[/import]

Thanks for the quick responses. I appreciate that you are considering Windows 7. My main concern is about portability right now. I just wanted to make sure that if I code without Corona. I’m almost finished with my first project, and I wanted to know if I could import the completed code into Corona. Then from within Corona, port it to Android with little to no trouble. Fedcis,

If I understood your first questions correctly, you are coding in XCode (ObjC) now, right? If it is like that, then the answer is NO, you can’t import it in Corona. The Corona engine uses LUA as the scripting language. [import]uid: 5712 topic_id: 881 reply_id: 2058[/import]
