Hello guys, I’ve been looking at tutorials for a few different types of games and I came across a whack a mole game tutorial. Now, I looked over the coding for a long time and it seems like the main basis of the game would be exactly how I would want to code it but a little bit different names and add a win/lose function and a few types of other things but my point is, would it be copyright infringement If I just happened to use some code off the tutorial I found for my game and publish to the app store/android markeT? Now regarding your question, you should be fine I think. I mean honestly how and who would be checking peoples code to see if they are similar or identical. I would worry more if you are using a copyright image / music ect but code I highly doubt lol I been using corona and learning for over a year now so now I usually write my own codes and dont have to check tutorials but when I started learning and using corona using tutorial codes was a MUST lol.
