corona app in windows phone

I have built my application for windows using corona sdk. But when copied the files to the windows phone, it is not able to open - “Can’t open file xxxx.exe. Error code - 2147024809…” this message was shown on the phone. But it is perfectly running on the simulator… What could be wrong ? pls anybody give a reply…Thanks in advance…

Windows Phone 8 and Windows x86 Desktop builds are not the same. They are incompatible. You have to use our CoronaCards for Windows product and build with Visual Studio if you want to deploy to Windows Phone 8 and the Windows Phone store.  Please read:

This will step you through the process for building for Windows Phone 8 and 10 devices. The build option out of the Corona SDK simulator on Windows only produces versions that run on desktop/laptop’s and Surface Pro’s (not regular Surface’s).

For Windows Phone use, yes it’s free. If you want to use CoronaCards for iOS or Android, then there is a fee.
