Corona build for iPhone is being recognized as iPad build by iTunes and XCode

I have an extremely simple app. I have directed Corona build to build an iPhone app (not iPad). When I go to install it onto my iPhone 3G (running 4.0.1), it says “Can’t install application… The application at /blargh/foo.app can only be installed on iPads.”

If I try in iTunes, the app shows up in the iPad Apps category in Library. That’s not what’s expected.

What am I doing wrong?

The above report was for beta 6.
If I go back to beta 5, it works. [import]uid: 7577 topic_id: 1437 reply_id: 4016[/import]

Scratch that - Beta 5 does the same thing sometimes. I think there is some state/radio button issue in the build dialog. Trying to narrow it down. [import]uid: 7577 topic_id: 1437 reply_id: 4017[/import]

Make sure you select iPhone OS 3.0 in the Corona build. If you select 3.2 it will show up as an iPad build and won’t run on an iPhone. [import]uid: 7559 topic_id: 1437 reply_id: 4018[/import]

Thanks for the reply. That was it.

It is a Beta, I know, and this is obvious feedback, I know, but your build dialog needs to have its options limited based on viable choices. [import]uid: 7577 topic_id: 1437 reply_id: 4020[/import]
