In the free plan, there are only 50,000 API calls, but under leaderboards, it says “unlimited”. Are calls to gameNetwork.init() and gameNetwork.request() not included as API calls since they’re only used for leaderboards, or are there unlimited numbers of leaderboards but very limited access to setting high scores for free?
From reading the Blog it looks like its free to update leaderboards and achievements, which is very good news!

Thanks!
Chronon - just an initial quick correction: in the free tier there are 500,000 API calls (not 50k as you mention).
As for your question: any calls related to user accounts, leaderboards and achievements will not be counted towards the API call limit. So you can set as many scores as you want - that falls under the unlimited.
Oops, sorry, posted right after TandG. Thanks guys.
Thanks, David. I read that number from logging into the Corona Cloud web portal, clicking Billing, Plans, and then “view details” on the Free row. It currently says “Api Calls: 50000”
Oops. Sorry about that. The “real” number is on our pricing page: www.coronalabs.com/store/#cloud-pricing
But we will correct that ASAP!
