The colors of my images are cut down in Corona. I made a completely green background in Photoshop, when I tested it in the Corona Simulator, much of the green color was gone and the background looked dull, and when I built the app to test on my iPhone it’s the same, boring, green color. Is this a common problem? And does someone have a solution or at least an idea? I e-mailed Ansca about this issue last week but havn’t gotten an answer yet. I have tested my images in other softwares and they look fine there. GameSalad prints the images just fine, for example.
Please someone, I can’t finish my game without having at least decent colors
It looks kind of like the alpha on the image is set to 50%… either as it’s saved from Photoshop, or maybe the alpha setting inside of Corona… [import]uid: 9905 topic_id: 5878 reply_id: 20283[/import]
It has to be from corona since it looks great everywhere else? Any way to change it? I’ll send you the files 15m Carlos, thanks! [import]uid: 30185 topic_id: 5878 reply_id: 20290[/import]
Got any more ideas on what could cause this, Carlos? I’m not far away from publishing my game but I’ve got to fix the coloring first… [import]uid: 30185 topic_id: 5878 reply_id: 20349[/import]
For anyone who finds this thread later on, the problem lays in the gamma of the mac/windows. Images created with Photoshop on a mac don’t look good in windows / the corona simulator. Images created with photoshop on windows look great on the corona simulator but wont open with the photoshop of mac [import]uid: 30185 topic_id: 5878 reply_id: 20356[/import]
