corona cordova/phonegap integration

last year there was mention of integrating phonegap with corona. word was there was a demo even.

Has there been any progress on that?

In particular:

I need to access the camera from a webview. can it be done in corona? if so how so?

I too am wondering if that was for real. It’d be extremely useful to be able to access some of the native functionality afforded to Cordova from Corona.

At this time, there is some PhoneGap functionality on iOS, using CoronaCards via a plugin. Please check out the following docs and follow the link to “PhoneGap Plugin (iOS)”:
